Bruce Bratley PhD – Waste Management Expert, CEO & Founder of First Mile

Bruce Bratley is the founder and CEO of First Mile, creating the company in 2004 with an environmental Ph.D. and a solid commercial background. A waste management expert with over 20 years of experience in the industry, Bruce is intent on helping businesses champion the environment around the London area.

In 2023, Bruce spoke at the BMPA Sustainability Conference about the critical role waste management plays in achieving a sustainable future by lowering global greenhouse gas emissions.

Bruce was also featured on LDC’s Top 50 of 2019, celebrating his achievements as the CEO of one of the country’s fastest-growing companies.
