L'Oréal X Recycle My Salon

L’Oréal have teamed up with First Mile and Recycle My Salon to help hairstylists recycle their salon waste.

Start recycling aluminium and hair with our easy-to-use Recycling Pack. Here’s how to get started:

1. Order a Recycle My Salon pack below. First pack provided free of charge through L'Oréal (Contains 4 postable bins and 2 reusable lids)
2. Your Recycling Pack will arrive within a few working days. You will also receive an email with your Customer ID for Recycle My Salon, where you can order more bins.
3. Assemble your bins and lids, line with any bin bag.  Fill the Aluminium Bin with foils, tubes, or cans, and the Hair Bin with human hair. Remember to put aluminium waste and hair waste into separate bags and bins.
4. Once the bin is full, remove the lid, seal the bin, and scan the QR code to book your free collection.
5. All your materials are weighted and tracked, with recycling data available through your First Mile customer portal.
6. When you need more bins, use your Customer ID on the Recycle My Salon website.
