Their Challenge

Kollo is the UK's leading liquid marine collagen supplement brand, which is specially formulated to support whole-body health.

They take great care when selecting suppliers, making sure their principles and commitments are a close match to their own.

Kollo has the good of the planet at their heart. Their aluminium and plastic composite sachets were difficult to recycle, and they needed a low-cost, easy solution for customers to be able to recycle their used packaging.

First Mile's solution

We introduced a Freepost recycling scheme for hard-to-recycle items, allowing Kollo customers to recycle empty sachets free of charge to First Mile to recycle.

We then ensure these sachets are recycled by our carefully selected partners into new plastic and aluminium products, contributing to the circular economy.
